Our story had begun this year when Peter Karadi, after deciding on a major change in his lifestyle, had planted his 10 hectares sea buckthorn plantation.
Our company has a 15-year history. The experience gained over the years and the direction in which we have evolved are the basis for bold plans for the future.
The most important milestones in our company’s history are summarised below.
2009
2011
Peter as a single and the only Hungarian member joined to the German Society for Sea Buckthorn and Wild Fruits – “Sanddorn eV”. During the first years to follow the start Peter boosted his networking activity in the field of cultivation and trade of sea buckthorn.

2012
Peter founded a tree nursery and introduced German licensed varieties (especially Habego) in Hungary.
2014
Development the partial mechanization of the after harvest cleaning process of sea buckthorn .
2014
2015-2016
Promotion the integration of Hungarian sea buckthorn farmers in addition to international networking.
2017
dr Gabor Torocsik, as a lawyer working in the field of investment and commerce, has joined the Hungarian cooperation and planted his sea buckthorn plantation.
2017
2018
Peter and Gabor founded their joint venture and started to build a successful processing and trading company called “C-Berry&More”.
2019
C-Berry&More has invested a modern German after harvest processing line of sea buckthorn.
2019
2021
C-Berry&More has become the largest Hungarian IQF sea buckthorn supplier with an extensive network of partners all over Europe. To date C-Berry&More has a well established presence in Hungary and in the region with permanent suppliers of raw material as well as existing domestic and foreign sales channels. The company is constantly expanding its trade in semi-finished sea buckthorn products processed by its contracted manufacturing partners.
Future goals
– Own production plant where sea buckthorn will carefully be processed into semi-finished products without residue.
– Expanding our international B2B partner network beyond Europe.
– Joint R&D projects with universities to research the biologically active ingredients of sea buckthorn.
